Our 3D prints are made just for you. This policy explains what we guarantee, what is not refundable under South African law, and how we handle transit damage or print errors.

Before you order

Double-check model, scale, colour and material. Custom prints cannot be changed after production starts. Need a pre-ship photo? Ask us at checkout.

Non-refundable nature of custom products

All 3D printed products are custom-made, unique, and non-refundable. Because each item is printed specifically for you based on your chosen model, size, colour, material, and specs, it cannot be resold. By placing an order, the customer agrees they are ordering a bespoke product.

  • No returns for change of mind
  • No refunds for incorrect model choice / size / colour / material selected by the customer
  • No refunds if you no longer need the item

Reference CPA Section 19(4) — custom-made goods are exempt from cooling-off. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

What we guarantee

  • Matches file/specs — the print matches the STL/3MF/OBJ and dimensions you ordered.
  • Correct material & colour — printed in the exact material and colour selected at checkout.
  • No major defects — free from major manufacturing defects that affect function.

Photos before shipping are available on request.

Damaged during transit — replacement only

We will only replace (not refund) your item if it is broken or damaged during transit.

  • No cash refunds for transit damage — only replacement
  • We are not liable after delivery for misuse, dropping, heat, etc.

How to claim transit damage — 48-hour process

  1. Photograph within 48 hours. Take clear photos of the damaged item AND the packaging.
  2. Email us with details. Send your order number, photos and a description to info@layerevo3d.com.
  3. Keep everything. Keep the damaged item and all packaging until the case is resolved.
  4. We re-print & re-ship free. If approved, we re-print and re-ship the same item at no extra cost.

Print failures & our fault

If we made an error — wrong material, wrong colour, major layer failure, or significant dimensional inaccuracy — we will re-print free of charge. Report within 48 hours with photos.

Not considered defects: minor layer lines, slight stringing, and small surface imperfections are inherent to FDM printing and are not classified as defects unless they affect functionality.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund only if printing has not yet started. Once printing has started or completed, cancellation is not possible as the product is custom-made.

Digital files

Digital files (STL / 3MF / OBJ) are non-refundable once downloaded.
