PLA
PLA is the most popular 3D printing material. It captures tiny details incredibly well and comes in the widest variety of colours (including Matte, Silk and Rainbow). Best for display models, toys, lithophanes, cosplay items, and indoor prototypes.
PETG
This is a hardened filament. It is weather resistant and substantially more durable than PLA. If you need something functional that will take a bit of a beating, PETG is the filament to use. Best for mechanical parts, brackets, outdoor items, and containers.
TPU
TPU is a flexible plastic. You can squeeze it, bend it, and drop it, and it will snap right back into shape. It's incredibly durable and shock resistant. Best for phone cases, custom gaskets, RC car tires, and vibration dampers.
